After your shipments arrive at a Chit Chats location, tracking will begin once the shipment receives an acceptance scan. Shipments can have two tracking numbers: one for Chit Chats and another for the partner carrier (if tracking is included with your postage).

- Chit Chats Tracking: This unique ID is assigned to shipments created on the Chit Chats platform. It begins tracking as soon as the shipment arrives at a Chit Chats location.
- Carrier Tracking: This ID is provided by our partner carrier and starts once the shipment is handed over to them.
For the most complete tracking information, we recommend following the Chit Chats tracking number. This will provide updates from the moment the shipment arrives at a Chit Chats location. In contrast, the carrier tracking will only begin once the shipment is transferred to the carrier.

Note:
In rare cases, Chit Chats tracking may not sync with the carrier tracking, meaning updates from the carrier may not appear immediately in Chit Chats tracking. If this happens, it’s best to refer directly to the carrier’s tracking. Both tracking IDs can be accessed through your account.
If you’ve selected a service (ex: Chit Chats Slim) with partial tracking, tracking will end once the shipment is handed over to our partner carrier. However, fully tracked shipments will continue to be updated after they’re transferred to the partner carrier.
