New Features & Updates

Easy Access to Chit Chats Supplies

  • Navigate quickly from your dashboard in your Chit Chats account to buy shipping supplies.

Printer Settings

  • The “Postage Label” section in your settings has been renamed to “Printing” so all the various printing options can be viewed in one spot.
  • In addition, to make the steps easier to follow along, we’ve enhanced the instructions for selecting your preferred printer application.

Advanced CSV Template

  • The Advanced CSV template has replaced the standard template as of September 2. If you need help using the advanced version, consult this helpful resource.

Happy Hippo Drop Spot

  • New cut-off times for our Happy Hippo drop spot in Red Deer, AB

Atlantic Canada Regional Hub

  • Our Atlantic Canada Drop Spot Hub at Little Luxuries in Burnside relocated to Bedford Place Mall on August 30, where it is now a full-fledged branch! What’s new?

Maritime Bus

  • The pickup schedule for Maritime Bus in Atlantic Canada has been updated with changes in New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. Visit our blog post for all the details.

Sidney Drop Spot

  • Unfortunately, our drop spot in Sidney, BC permanently closed Friday, August 30. To explore alternative options, visit here.

Service Updates

Chit Chats Insurance

  • We’ve changed providers for Chit Chats Insurance, that brings you several improvements, including shorter wait times and direct contact with your assigned agent. For more details, click here.
  • You can use either the carrier tracking code or the Chit Chats shipment ID to submit a claim.

Chit Chats Select

  • We are changing providers for our Chit Chats Select service starting September 3 in BC and September 9 for the remaining regions. Prices remain the same but you’ll see delivery improvement times depending on the region. Find out more

Chit Chats International & USPS International

  • “Wiring kits” (also known as “hardwire kits”) cannot be shipped internationally due to TSA restrictions. Learn more
  • Brazil is now serviced by Chit Chats International and is no longer a shipping option for USPS International.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved: When creating a draft Canpar pickup and then updating the address, the previous address would still appear.
  • Resolved: Advanced CSV templates with optional columns removed (ex. HS codes) were unable to successfully import onto the platform.
  • Resolved:  The nonrefundable disclaimer when purchasing a USPS First Class International shipment was not displaying when using ‘flat envelope’ as the package type.
  • Resolved: Chit Chats U.S. Select postage labels were unable to be downloaded as a PDF.
