Labour Day Holiday Hours 2024

The summer holidays are coming to a close which means that the Labour Day holiday quickly approaches. Review our hours of operation to make sure you aren’t caught off guard.

Plan ahead and don’t forget to update your customers. The upcoming Labour Day holiday falls on Monday, September 2 this year.

And don’t forget that our U.S. partner carriers will also celebrate Labor Day as a postal holiday. You may expect to see minor delays to tracking for your U.S. bound shipments as a result.

Fri, Aug 30

  • All locations are open with regular hours
  • Regular pickup schedule

Processing Notes:

  • Quebec: Chit Chats International Tracked shipments received Friday will be processed Tuesday
  • Atlantic Canada: All shipments received Thursday and Friday will be processed Tuesday
  • All other regions:
    • U.S. shipments received Friday will be processed Saturday
    • Canadian shipments received Friday will be processed Tuesday

Sat, Aug 31 & Sun, Sep 1

  • Regular Saturday and Sunday hours at branches
  • Regular drop spot hours

Mon, Sep 2

Labour Day👷‍♀️👨‍🏭

  • All branches and drop spots are closed
  • No pickups scheduled
  • Vancouver after-hours drop box will be checked Tuesday

Tue, Sep 3

  • Back to regular business hours at all branches
  • Regular pickup schedule resumes
  • After-hours drop box checked in Vancouver
