Juneteenth falls on Sunday, June 19 but the United States Postal service and others observe the holiday on Monday, June 20. This recognized U.S. postal holiday commemorates the emancipation of enslaved African-Americans and various parts of the United States have been celebrating it annually since 1865.
As Juneteenth is a postal holiday, post offices will close and regular mail delivery will not take place. However, all of our Chit Chats’ branches will be open with regular hours to accept your shipments. We will be processing your shipments as normal, but please expect some minor delays to tracking for U.S. bound shipments.
Happy shipping!
