New Features & Updates

Locations Page

  • We’ve refreshed our infographic to reflect recent changes regarding cut-off times for select branches, notably in Alberta and Atlantic Canada.
  • We’ve updated Intelcom Drop Spots to ‘Dragonfly’ to align with their recent rebranding.

Dashboard

  • The dashboard has been redesigned for a cleaner, less stimulating experience. Let us know what you think!

Sign-up Page

  • To better inform new clients in Atlantic Canada and Alberta about TSA restrictions, an alert will now appear during the sign-up process when selecting either region.

Newsroom

  • We’ve revamped our Newsroom page! Check out the changes here.

Scanned Status

  • There is now a new shipment status, Scanned. This status lets you know that your shipment information has been electronically received; however, the shipment is still waiting for a physical scan from Chit Chats.

Disposal Address Disclaimer

  • If you opted for the U.S. return disposal service, you will now see a bolded disclaimer indicating that the provided return address is for disposal.

Postage Purchase Failure

  • We’ve enhanced our messaging to provide clearer visibility when postage purchase attempts fail.

French Public Tracking Page

  • We’ve added a disclaimer to clarify that not all tracking events will be translated and be available in French depending on the partner carrier.

Service Updates

Chit Chats English Client Support Phone line

  • Our English support phone line is temporarily closed due to high ticket volumes; we are focusing on resolving backlogged inquiries. In the meantime, our customer support team is available exclusively via email. For urgent inquiries, please contact your local branch by phone—contact details can be found on our locations page. We appreciate your patience and will provide an update as soon as phone support is restored.

GSPR

  • The EU has introduced a new regulation, the General Product Safety Regulations (GPSR). If you ship to this region, please ensure that your shipments and products comply with these requirements.
    • Note: Chit Chats is not responsible for GPSR compliance; it is the sole responsibility of you and/or your product manufacturer.

U.S. Returns: CARM

  • If you are interested in having Chit Chats manage your U.S. and USPS international returns, please note that the procedure has had an update and you must complete your CARM registration before submitting your POA.

Canpar Pickups

  • Canpar third-party pickups have returned to normal timelines.

Bug Fixes

  • Resolved: Our partner carrier was experiencing issues leading to errors in purchasing Chit Chats U.S. Select labels to certain ZIP codes in the U.S. states of Oregon and Washington.
  • Resolved: USPS tracking events were appearing for partially tracked services like Chit Chats U.S. Slim.
