As global fuel costs continue to fluctuate due to ongoing geopolitical developments, our shipping partners have introduced temporary fuel surcharges across their networks.

We want to be transparent about what this means for you, and how we’re managing it.

You may notice adjustments to shipping rates in the coming weeks; these changes reflect temporary surcharges implemented by carriers to offset increased fuel and operational costs.

While this can lead to occasional adjustments, it helps keep shipping networks resilient and responsive. PostNL

Starting Monday, April 6, PostNL will introduce an additional fuel-related surcharge based on shipment weight.

Because this surcharge varies per shipment, a fixed percentage increase cannot be provided. You may notice slight differences in shipping costs depending on the size and weight of individual orders.

USPS

Beginning Sunday, April 26, USPS will introduce temporary pricing adjustments to manage transportation costs. This will be an 8% increase on postage. The current end date is January 17, 2027, though this may change.

Canada Post

Canada Post has already been applying fuel surcharges independently of recent fuel price increases. These are calculated weekly and fluctuate based on fuel prices. However, you may see higher surcharges than usual as fuel costs rise. For current rates, please refer to their official fuel surcharge page.

Local Couriers

Through our local courier partners, an additional surcharge is expected. At this time, details on the amount and implementation are not yet available. We will share updates as soon as more information is confirmed.

Canpar

Canpar changes their fuel surcharges on a weekly basis depending on national average gas prices. Similarly to Canada Post, you may see an increase in average due to rising costs. See details here

While these rate changes traditionally take effect in early January, they may also be influenced by shifts and fluctuations within the logistics industry, allowing for adjustments based on the evolving landscape. USPS typically follows a bi-annual rate increase along with holiday surcharges.

Please note that the following represent an overall percentage increase. Individual shipments may experience varying increases, with some increasing by more and others by less. These percentages reflect the overall average increase for the service.

At this time, there are no scheduled pricing changes for services that utilize USPS in 2026. We’ll provide an update if this changes in the future.

PostNL

Overall, rates will decrease by approximately 30% when factoring in all destinations and weight tiers starting March 8. However, some destinations will see increases. The most notable is Australia, which will experience an average increase of 30–40%.
