2025-2026 Peak Season Surcharge
From October 5, 2025 through January 18, 2026, USPS will be applying temporary surcharges to help offset the higher handling costs of the holiday season. During this time, rates for Chit Chats U.S. Select and Chit Chats U.S. Edge will include a temporary price increase.
Carrier rate adjustments occur annually and reflect the rising costs of delivery, particularly in the context of inflation. While these rate changes traditionally take effect in early January, they may also be influenced by shifts and fluctuations within the logistics industry, allowing for adjustments based on the evolving landscape. USPS typically follows a bi-annual rate increase along with holiday surcharges.
We are committed to providing the best service and minimizing any impact to all our valued clients. In the event of a significant increase that will affect your rates we will make every effort to provide advanced notice, ensuring transparency and allowing you to plan accordingly.
