Civic Holiday 2023

The Civic Holiday is almost here! We want to prepare you so you can focus on relaxation instead of shipping during your holiday. Read up on our hours of operation for the upcoming midsummer long weekend.

This year the Civic Holiday falls on Monday, August 7th. Don’t forget to plan ahead and advise your customers of any possible delays.

As the province of Quebec does not observe the holiday, our Montreal Hub will remain open with regular operating hours while all our other QC branches will close for the day. Branches located in Alberta, Atlantic Canada, British Columbia and Ontario will also close to observe the holiday but will hold regular weekend hours leading up to the holiday.

Friday, August 4

  • All locations are open with regular hours
  • Regular pickup schedule

Processing notes:

  • Quebec: Asendia and Chit Chats International Tracked shipments received Friday will be processed Tuesday
  • Atlantic Canada: All shipments received Thursday and Friday will be processed Tuesday
  • All other regions:
    • U.S. shipments received Friday will be processed Saturday
    • Canadian shipments received Friday will be processed Tuesday

Saturday, August 5

  • Regular Saturday and Sunday hours at branches
  • Regular drop spot hours

Sunday, August 6

  • Regular Sunday hours at branches
  • Regular drop spot hours

Monday, August 7

Civic Holiday

  • All branches are closed
    • With the exception of our Montreal hub which will be open
  • Regular drop spot hours
  • No pickups scheduled
  • Vancouver after-hours drop box will be checked Tuesday

Tuesday, August 8

  • Back to regular business hours at all branches
  • Regular pickup schedule resumes
  • After-hours drop box checked in Vancouver
