Clients connecting an additional Shopify store can now enter their store name during the setup process. This makes it easier to identify and connect the correct store when managing multiple Shopify accounts.

You can now easily access our HTS look-up tool when manually creating a shipment.

We’ve heard your feedback! Chit Chats SmartDrop mail-in labels with Canada Post will now display more helpful batch information in the Reference 1 field.
- If your Client Batch doesn’t have a name, the Chit Chats Batch ID will be displayed.
- If your Client Batch has a name, the Client Batch name will be displayed (shortened to the first 35 characters if needed).

The U.S. administration has ended Section 122 tariffs, and Section 301 now applies to goods from the 60 economies under investigation. Eligible goods may be subject to 10%, 12.5%, or 25% duties. Learn more
Effective August 19, certain Canadian-origin goods will be subject to a 50% tariff under the upcoming Section 338 tariffs. Learn more

USPS has introduced stricter requirements for Hazardous Materials (HAZMAT). HAZMAT shipments must now be declared in your Chit Chats account.
USPS has updated its dimensional weight calculations, so you may notice small changes to shipping rates.
A $3 fee now applies to shipments that exceed 1 cubic foot or 22 inches if they don’t meet USPS compliance requirements.
The Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) has introduced eFiling requirements. While this isn’t currently mandatory, we recommend having the required information available in case it’s requested during border crossings.

The EU has introduced a €3 customs duty fee for eligible shipments. This fee applies when an IOSS number is included on the shipment. If an IOSS number is not provided, the recipient may be responsible for paying the fee upon delivery.
Denmark and Luxembourg have removed their IOSS number requirements, and shipping to these destinations has been reinstated.

Resolved: IOSS Customs and IOSS Customs Broker fees are now correctly included in the recommended payment amount when having unpaid postage.
