New Features & Updates
Shopify Integration
- Weight units beyond grams (kilograms, pounds, and ounces) now import from Shopify onto the Chit Chats platform.
- Shipment statuses on the Shopify platform will now update to Delivered once delivery is confirmed in the Chit Chats platform. Other statuses (such as Lost or Delivery Exception) are not currently synced to Shopify.
Adobe Commerce & SquareSpace Integrations
- Like ShipStation and Shopify, SquareSpace and Adobe Commerce now support importing orders older than 60 days. Click the support articles to learn how.

Bug Fixes
- Resolved: Shopify imports now correctly update total shipment weight when an item’s weight is edited.
- Resolved: U.S. shipments requiring signature confirmation now display accurate delivery statuses after successful delivery.
- Resolved: ShipStation imports no longer error when provinces are entered in full instead of standard abbreviations.

Service Updates
U.S. Services
- We’ve launched Chit Chats U.S. Connect to support clients who are not located near a Chit Chats branch or drop spot. Shipments must be dropped off at a Canada Post location for processing.
- Dimensions will be required for all Chit Chats shipments starting June 1, 2026, in preparation for a USPS update effective July 12, 2026.
- Following a U.S. Supreme Court ruling, reciprocal tariffs imposed under the IEEPA have been deemed unlawful. Chit Chats shipments are not as of yet eligible for refunds under this tariff category.
- The U.S. has updated Section 232 tariffs (aluminum, steel, copper), removing 341 HTS codes and adding others.
- Due to updated U.S. import restrictions, we are no longer able to support shipments containing products originating from the following countries: Venezuela, Iraq, Myanmar, Côte d’Ivoire, North Korea, and Iran.
