Bug Fixes

  • Resolved: Routing not found for requested data on a shipment destined to Norway
    • DDP service for Norway is not available through our Chit Chats International Service
  • Resolved: USPS shipments that were automatically released after postage was purchased with a tracking update of ‘in transit’ and ‘out of customs’
  • Resolved: Issues with importing shipments and purchasing postage

Service Updates

Chit Chats International Tracked

  • International shipments travel through international borders and customs delays are beyond our control
  • Ask your recipient to contact the local carrier for more details as the shipment may be on hold for duties or additional information required for delivery 

USPS First Class Package International

  • If you aren’t seeing tracking updates, check the destination to see if there will be further tracking updates in the destination country as this is dependent on USPS’s e-DELCON service.
  • If the country is not part of this then the tracking often does not continue updating past departure from the U.S. or arrival in the destination country.

Delivery times for U.S. territories

  • Due to the carrier’s transportation methods, delivery can range up to 20 business days for Alaska, Guam, and Hawaii.

Shopify

  • Import orders older than 3 months
    • Navigate to your Settings/Sales Channels and click on Edit on your connected store
    • From here, enter a date in the ‘import orders from date’
    • If this field is left blank, the import will default to the last 60 day

Return Shipments

  • If you ship out packages, you likely will encounter return shipments. Level up your understanding so you can manage your customers and update your store policies
