New Features & Updates
Chit Chats Select Tracking
- Tracking events now include location details on our tracking pages.
- Delivery estimates for Chit Chats Select have been updated to 4–10 business days, with an additional 2–10 business days due to partner carrier capacity delays.
Pickup Page
- The Pickup page now keeps the option to apply for Chit Chats pickups visible, even if Canpar pickups have been requested in the past.
Phone Number Requirement
- If a phone number for a recipient is required for a destination country and is missing, you will reach the Postage Purchase page but won’t be able to complete the purchase. An alert will now appear at the bottom of the page.
Location and Branch Updates
Happy Hippo Bath Company
- Our partnership has ended, and this location no longer accepts Chit Chats packages.
Alberta Branches
- Cut-off times have been implemented at our Calgary branches to ensure same-day processing. Learn more here.
Service Updates
Chit Chats Select
- Expanded coverage now includes more areas and postal codes.
- Available for local shipping within Atlantic Canada.
- Service now supports shipments to the Northwest Territories (NT).
Chit Chats U.S. Slim
- Now available for non-U.S. mainland destinations, such as the U.S. Military bases and U.S. Territories.
Chit Chats Pickups
- We are at full capacity across all regions; new requests cannot be accommodated.
- Alternatives:
Alberta: TSA Restrictions
- All Alberta shipments now move exclusively via air transport and must follow the same TSA restrictions applicable to Chit Chats International Tracked shipments.
Canpar Pickups
- Significant delays have been reported due to high volumes.
- Schedule Canpar pickups at your own discretion, and for any follow ups email customerservice@canpar.com, or consider the aforementioned alternative providers.
Bug Fixes
- In progress: Canpar pickups are experiencing cancellation issues. If you would like to schedule a Canpar pickup, do so at your own discretion.
- Resolved: The tracking status for Chit Chats Select now correctly displays as ‘fully tracked’ before purchase.
- Resolved: The automatic lost shipment email has been updated to reflect current wait periods for Chit Chats Insurance.
