Acceptance of Terms and Conditions

A Chit Chats Referral Program (“Program”) rewards you for every new client you refer to Chit Chats, who is a Qualified Referral. By participating in the Program, you accept and agree to be bound by, without limitation or qualification, all applicable laws and regulations and these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and any modifications hereto. Chit Chats reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to discontinue or modify the Program and the Terms for any reason, at any time and for any duration, and without notice. You should therefore check these Terms for any changes prior to making a referral.

What is a Qualified Referral?

A Qualified Referral is defined by the following:

1. Referral must a be a new Chit Chats client who has never opened an account or shipped with Chit Chats before.
2. Referral must register through the Personal Link sent to them by their Referrer.
3. Referral must ship at least one parcel with Chit Chats.

Earning and Fulfillment of Rewards

Rewards are commissions from delivery fees of the Referral or other specified compensation for Referrals. Chit Chats will have various Referral Programs where rewards may vary for Referral and Referrer. Each Program will specify the rewards and duration of that Program. Each Program will be subject to the sole discretion of Chit Chats. Reward fulfillment shall be governed by the following:

1. Referrer will earn the specified reward of a Program, determined by their unique referral code on all delivery fees generated by each Qualified Referral over the specified duration of the Program.
2. Referral commissions you receive will be credited to your Chit Chats account on the first of every month for all referrals from the 16th of the previous month to the 15th of the current month period.

No Fraudulent Activity or Illegal Participation

Chit Chats reserves the right to void referrals and rewards earned if we suspect that they were earned in a fraudulent manner, in a manner that violates these terms, or in a manner otherwise not intended by Chit Chats.

We will send you emails about this Program

You may receive emails about this Program, including an email each time one of your referrals opens a Chit Chats account through your referral link, and when a transaction is confirmed by Chit Chats.

You Release Us from Liability

By participating in the Program, you agree that Chit Chats will have no liability and that you will indemnify and hold Chit Chats harmless for any claim, action, liability, loss, injury, or damage to you or any other person or entity due in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, by reason of your participation in the Program. You will not settle any claim without the prior written consent of Chit Chats. Further, you agree that Chit Chats is not responsible for faulty referral links, any error, omission, interruption, defect or delay in transmission, order processing, or communication; technical or mechanical malfunctions; errors in these terms, in any Program-related materials; human-processing error; failures of electronic equipment, computer hardware or software; damage to your equipment, computer hardware or software, or inaccurate information, whether caused by equipment, programming, human error, or otherwise.

Special Referral Program Promotional Period

Chit Chats currently has a special referral program promotional period running from June 14th, 2024 through September 15, 2024. Referrer’s earn $1 per shipment for each new referral contact account acquired through September 15, 2024. The referral contact will also receive $1 per shipment through September 15, 2024. There is no monetary value, each $1 earned is Chit Chats credit and can’t be cashed out of a Chit Chats account.

Qualifying referral shipments include the services of Chit Chats Canada Select, Chit Chats Canada Tracked, Chit Chats US Select, Chit Chats Edge, and Chit Chats International. There is no monetary value, each $1 earned is Chit Chats credit and can’t be cashed out of a Chit Chats account. There’s a maximum earnings limit of $500 in credit per referral account per month for each referrer and referral contact. For example, if a referral contact has 750 shipments each month, the referrer (you) receives $500 in credit per month, and your referral contact also receives $500 in credit per month through September 15, 2024. Newly referred clients who transition to a customized pricing plan, or are provided with promotional credits or promotional discounts on their shipments in any form with Chit Chats aren’t eligible to participate in the Program. However, these referred clients may voluntarily opt out of any customized pricing plan, credit or discount program to then gain access to the Referral Program and earn account credits.

This promotional period adheres to the same terms and conditions as the standard referral program does.

Program Changes

We reserve the right to change or cancel the Program and its Terms at any time, without notice. We reserve the right to modify or amend these guidelines and the methods through which rewards are earned. We reserve the right to disqualify a user at any time from participation in the Program if they do not comply with these guidelines. All information collected from a user in the Program will be subject to the Chit Chats Privacy Policy.
