While this rule was understood to mean $800 USD in aggregated value <strong><em>per shipper <\/em><\/strong><em>(i.e. individual Chit Chats client)<\/em>, CBP is flagging and refusing shipments across <em>all shippers (ex: individual Chit Chats clients) <\/em><strong><em>and <\/em><\/strong><em>carriers (Chit Chats and other shipping companies) <\/em>crossing into the U.S. via Section 321 that exceed $800 USD in aggregated value to one consignee (recipient).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-cover\" style=\"min-height:278px;aspect-ratio:unset;\"><span aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-cover__background has-blue-background-color has-background-dim-100 has-background-dim\"><\/span><div class=\"wp-block-cover__inner-container is-layout-constrained wp-block-cover-is-layout-constrained\">\n<p class=\"has-text-align-center has-medium-font-size\"><strong>Example<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>John ships one shipment valued at $750 USD with Chit Chats to Joe Smith at 123 Main Street, New York NY. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>John ships another shipment worth $750 USD to the same recipient through another carrier similar to Chit Chats. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Both carriers are scheduled to cross into the U.S. on the same day. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If the other carrier crosses first, they will be permitted because the shipment alone doesn&#8217;t exceed the maximum aggregate value. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>When Chit Chats attempts to cross <em>after <\/em>the other carrier, Chit Chats would be refused because the recipient would have exceeded the maximum daily aggregate value limit for Section 321.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>On Wednesday, August 13th, our trucks were refused entry at each of our border crossings due to shipments being flagged for exceeding the $800 USD value limit. We re-attempted crossing yesterday, August 14th, and while we were successful at two border crossings, one in Ontario was rejected a second time this trip is being re-attempted today.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Since the majority of shipments flagged at the border are for Amazon FBA warehouses, <strong>we ask you to refrain from shipping to Amazon FBA warehouses until further notice.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>We also ask that you refrain from using multiple carriers to ship to one recipient on a given day. <\/strong>Multiple shipments exceeding $800 USD value to one consignee must be cleared formally with a Customs Broker.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What can I do?<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Do not split up shipments across multiple carriers, as CBP will flag them upon arrival at the border<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Notify your recipient(s) of potential delays, especially if your shipments are of high
