Just a quick reminder that USPS peak surcharges will revert back to 2020 rates on December 28. And don’t forget that USPS will have their annual rate increase start on January 24.
For the first time USPS has announced peak surcharges. Changes will go in effect on October 18 through December 27, 2020.
This is in response to the increased expenses and shipping volumes caused by the pandemic in addition to the expected holiday surge for e-commerce.
These temporary price adjustments will impact some partners who also utilize USPS’ network like UPS MI.
We are working closely with all our partner carriers for more information. We will provide further details on which services these temporary surcharges will impact in the next few weeks.
