National Day of Mourning

Our branches will close to observe the newly announced National Day of Mourning which falls on Monday, September 19.

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced Tuesday, September 13 that Canada will observe a new federal holiday to mark the passing of Queen Elizabeth II. This holiday, the National Day of Mourning will take place on Monday, September 19. 

As a federal holiday, Chit Chats and others in the industry will be in observance, meaning that all of our branches will be closed Monday. We recommend notifying your Canadian customers of the potential for delays to tracking due to the holiday.
